A Thoughtful Way to Support Firm Foundation Rescue
If you are age 70½ or older, you may be able to make a gift to Firm Foundation Rescue directly from your IRA through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).
A QCD allows you to direct your IRA custodian to send a charitable gift straight to an eligible nonprofit. Because the funds go directly to the charity, the distribution is generally not included in your taxable income. If you are taking Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), a QCD may also satisfy all or part of your annual requirement.
It’s a simple way to support a cause you love while making the most of your charitable giving. To make a Qualified Charitable Distribution, ask your IRA custodian to issue a check payable to Firm Foundation Rescue and mail it to:

If possible, please ask your custodian to include your name with the distribution—or let us know your gift is on the way—so we can properly acknowledge your generosity.
