Sanctuary
We have 28 special cats in our sanctuary that need your help to give them the life they deserve! Our sanctuary provides a safe space for feral cats who would otherwise be euthanized or stuck in dangerous situations. For $25/month, you can help a cat receive the food, enrichment activities, litter, and a safe building to thrive in.

PAPRIKA
This fluffy sass was rescued from a dangerous situation in Shakopee where there wasn't much of a chance at a safe life. It was all about survival. Now Paprika has the chance to live at peace with cat friends in a safe sanctuary.

JIM
Jim was one of 50 cats rescued from a large colony in McGrath, MN where cats are commonly dumped in the woods. His caretaker passed away, and neighbors were going out of their way to shoot, poison, and harass the cats. Jim is still very flightly and scared of people, but thrives being with his cat friends and letting his nervous system learn that it does not have to be in fight or flight anymore.

CAROL
This girl was a part of a large group of 50 cats rescued from McGrath, MN. A caretaker advocated for the group to get help after many had been dumped and over years, multiplied. The caretaker passed away and the cats were in danger due to unkind neighbors. She has been with us for 3 years, and while touch still is not encouraged, she is starting to come out from hiding around us so that is a great sign!

CHEETAH
Cheetah was in an unsafe area in Cold Springs where landlords were going to "resolve the cat issue their own way." Thankfully, some tenants advocated for the cats to buy time and live trapped them so they could get to safety.

IVAN
This beautiful, fluffy boy was born outdoors. If he had not come to our sanctuary, he would have been out battling with other cats, roaming, and fathering an endless number of kittens. Unfortunately they came to us just shortly after their socialization window, so never came around to being adoptable

ERIN
This girl was a part of a large group of 50 cats rescued from McGrath, MN. A caretaker advocated for the group to get help after many had been dumped and over years, multiplied. The caretaker passed away and the cats were in danger due to unkind neighbors. She had a pretty severe eye condition and after almost a year of attempted treatments, we decided it was best for her quality of life to remove the eye vs stress her out life long with daily medication since she is not a fan of people getting close.

GABE
Gabe was one of 50 cats rescued from a large colony in McGrath, MN where cats are commonly dumped in the woods. His caretaker passed away, and neighbors were going out of their way to shoot, poison, and harass the cats. Gabe is a fiesty guy, but after almost 3 years, he is starting to trust us a little more

HARRIET
We don't know a lot about Harriet's story, but she was rescued by another dedicated independent rescuer. She wasn't coming around and needed a safe, indoor place to land. There aren't many options for a cat like Harriet, but we had a little wiggle room and she has fit right in!

HERCULES
This sleek, petite, black beauty has been with us for 5 years. She was found during the cold month of December around Christmas and living near a busy road. While she's never come around to enjoying pets, she gets excited when her caretakers come around every day for feedings and greets them with lots of rubbing on doors, toys, and meows. We hope some day that excitement turns into full trust and she lets us love on her! Until then, she is thriving

CLOVER
This pretty boy and his 2 siblings came to us after being born outside. Unfortunately, they came to us right after a cats general socialization window, so never came around to being a people loving cat. He is safe with one of our sanctuary fosters with his siblings!

MAXWELL
Maxwell is a special boy who requires monthly medical treatments. He was found in a parking lot living in and under vehicles outside of an apartment complex. This combined with his lack of fear, but very clear distrust of humans tells us that he was likely living in one of the apartments with someone who wasn't very nice to him and left behind when they moved out. Upon vet examination, it was found that his entire back end is very sensitive, but he is also pretty young, so the vet believes someone was very abusive to him at some point in his short life so far. Because of this, he requires $50/month injections for pain management to keep his quality of life good. This makes his sponsorship fee a little higher. Another fact about Max is that he tolerates men WAY better than women. Our director's husband can pet him on good days, but no one else has been able to get within a few feet without a swat.
